Our mission
Granitesurf was started in Perelle on the West Coast of Guernsey during 2020. With a passion for surfing and a love for the beauty of Guernsey founder Jon Smith started a sustainable brand to provide greater access to the exhilarating sport of body-surfing and to protect the local environment. Every Granite Hand-Plane is handmade and shaped on island using methods and finishes that combine minimal environmental impact with maximum quality and pleasure of use and ownership.

Our HAND-PLANES
Each Hand-Plane is developed after extensive research and testing of different prototypes in the waters around Guernsey. The combination of modern processes and traditional craftsmanship produces Hand-Planes of exceptional quality and finish. Produced from sustainable materials they are built to last and are a pleasure to own. The exhilarating pastime of body-surfing with a hand-plane is literally in your hands!
