The Beanjar Hand-Plane has a pulled in pointed nose and subtle rocker to give a precise amount of control and reduce the splash in the waves. Fully rounded smooth rails at the front are blended into a hard edge at the rear for maximum water release. The larger planing surface under the hand provides maximum lift and the fully rounded tail gives smooth turns and hold in steeper, hollow wave faces. A full concave runs the length of the underside providing further lift and creating a fast hand-plane with lots of speed down the line.
