The softer more rounded shape of the Ormer Hand-Plane creates a versatile profile that is maneuverable and fast in a wide range of conditions. The wide planing surface provides maximum lift and the drawn in pin-tail offers stability and a subtlety of turning angles in the control of the hand-plane. The rails are blended from a full round at the nose through to a hard release at the rear and the full concave runs the length of the underside. A hand-plane with a refined soul the Granitesurf Ormer is exhilarating to use and a treat to own.
