The Granitesurf Vraic is one of the smaller hand-planes in the range and is shaped with a traditional swallow-tail to provide 2 release points on the tail to create a lively hand-plane that works well in a wide range of conditions.
The rails are fully rounded at the nose and drawn out to a hard rail release towards the back for maximum hold. A larger rocker entry through the nose to reduce splashing and a concave base provide lift and stability.
It is one of the most popular hand-planes in the range and has a beautiful aesthetic making it a pleasure to own.
